Dementia Discovery
This online course is for those who are new to the workforce and those who need to refresh their basic awareness of dementia. It provides staff with knowledge about dementia and gives direction on where to access further training and resources. The course contains 7 modules:

• Understanding the brain and dementia
• Alzheimer’s disease
• Vascular dementia
• Frontotemporal dementia
• Dementia with Lewy bodies
• Empathy matters
• Communication matters

This short course is cost-free and provides a certificate of successful completion.
