Overview
This 90-minute online session supports staff to develop effective Behaviour Support Plans for people living with dementia who experience changed behaviour.
Using a practical case study, you will learn how to apply the ABC approach (Antecedent-Behaviour-Consequence) to identify behaviour triggers and responses, complete essential documentation, and explore practical, non-medicine strategies.
The session also provides guidance on reducing or withdrawing antipsychotic medicines in line with current best practice.
