About the Workshops

DTA have two public workshops that you can attend:

Changed Behaviour (CB) and De-escalation Basics Workshop

This workshop is designed for staff who work directly with people living with dementia. They will gain practical skills and a deeper understanding of dementia, its impact on the brain, and effective ways to respond to changed behaviour and escalation. This workshop includes Introduction to Changed Behaviour and Practical De-escalation Strategies.

Changed Behaviour Trainer Workshop

This workshop is designed for organisational trainers who deliver training to their colleagues, helping build workforce capacity and consistency. Based on a train-the-trainer model, it will deepen their understanding of changed behaviour and equip them to facilitate education sessions at their own workplaces using the Changed Behaviour Toolkit.
