Overview
Following on from Environments Foundation, your team will be supported to implement your action plan for changing a building, room or ward. An Environments facilitator will guide your action team to identify barriers, goals, and priorities. Via a series of regular zoom meetings, your team will be encouraged to engage in ongoing assessment to ensure that changes are meeting needs of those living with dementia.
Learners can demonstrate that they can:
- Compile a comprehensive environmental action plan that sets achievable goals for changing a building, room, or ward.
- Systematically work through components of the action plan with the support of a mentor.
- Apply a problem-solving approach to working through planned actions.
