Overview
This program aims to assist residential aged care organisations create a sustainable capacity building education framework around reducing and addressing dementia-related responsive behaviours.
The program includes an 9 week program consisting of 1 hour of self-directed learning and weekly catch up sessions in an online classroom with the RBC Program Educator, behavioural case study discussions with clinical experts, mentoring and support throughout to assist participants in their understanding of the topic areas. Participants are expected to undertake a Readiness Assessment Audit of their facility to determine where the facility is placed in relation to Person Centered Care and to submit an Action Plan that shows how they are going to use the learnings from the program in their workplace.
