Living their Best Lives: Best Practice Support for People Living with Younger Onset Dementia

September 24, 2020

Younger Onset Dementia is used to describe any form of dementia that develops in people under the age of 65. It's often misunderstood and has differing complexities compared to older people living with dementia. Understanding the experiences and needs of young people living with dementia, recognising the barriers to best practice care and embracing pragmatic strategies to quality care, are all key to ensuring people living with Younger Onset Dementia live meaningful and fulfilling lives. Join our panel of experts, including special guest John Thorpe, who will speak from his lived experience, and journey with us as we navigate the intricacies of Younger Onset Dementia, explore the range of supports and services available and hear about a unique interactive and educational resource available to us called 'Prescription for Life'.
