While ongoing COVID-19 constraints have impacted us all, there are many positives to be drawn from 2021.

While ongoing COVID-19 constraints have impacted us all, there are many positives to be drawn from 2021.

Among them, the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety’s final report recommendations and the Government’s $17.7 billion investment in aged care will create beneficial changes for those of our community living with dementia and the workforce who support and care for them.

As we have since 2016, DTA remains committed in its mission to improve the knowledge and skills of this workforce.

Looking forward to the new year and all it may bring, we will continue to focus on evidence-based standards in the development and delivery of practical education and learning pathways for you and your organisation.

Whether you are working or holidaying over December and January, our online courses and resources are available to access all day, every day.

However, our offices will close from 20 December 2021 and reopen 13 January 2022.

We look forward to working with you in the new year.

Best wishes for your celebrations this season from the DTA team
