In this module you will work through two case studies and develop a plan for appropriately withdrawing a benzodiazepine and/or other sedative medication for a person living with dementia.
On completion of this module you should be able to:
Recognise the processes involved when reducing and/or withdrawing benzodiazepine and/or other sedative medications.
Identify appropriate dosages and durations of benzodiazepine and/or other sedative medication during a withdrawal plan.
