This 15-minute module will introduce you to changed behaviour. You will develop knowledge and skills to identify changed behaviour and respond appropriately to reduce their negative impact. It is designed for anyone who is caring for or supporting a person living with dementia.
Learning Outcomes
After completing this course, staff should be able to: Describe what changed behaviour is for the person living with dementia. Describe factors influencing behaviour for the person living with dementia. Employ communication skills that may be used to de-escalate and support the person living with dementia.
