Learning Outcomes
By the end of this Course learners should be able to:
- Describe the purpose of the National Dementia Education and Training Standards Framework (NDETSF).
- Explore the relationship between the NDETSF and the new Aged Care Quality Standards (ACQS).
- Identify key areas of the ACQS that present opportunity for better care of people living with Dementia.
- Identify how the NDETSF can help deliver the ACQS.
- Examine how the Dementia Training Action plan (DTAp) can assist to identify training needs.
