About this Module
This module provides context for wandering as a responsive behaviour with an overview of dementia and responsive behaviours. You will learn how to take a structured approach to identifying and assessing behaviours and use this information to plan appropriate interventions.Learning Outcomes
After completing this module, staff should be able to:
- Describe changed behaviours and the reasons people living with dementia experience them.
- Identify some commonly used models to assess and determine why a person’s specific changed behaviour occurs.
- Describe types of interventions that may reduce or avoid changed behaviours.
