Inroads into rural and remote area dementia training
"The RARFT project brought DTA closer to rural and remote audiences, raising awareness of DTA as an organisation and promoting DTA’s dementia-specific services."
Children impacted by dementia in their family can find information and support on this interactive website designed specifically for them by Dementia Australia/VIC.
Dementia In My Family dementiainmyfamily.org.au caters for children of all ages, from preschoolers through to 16+ (and has plenty of useful information for adults as well).
It gives children the chance to learn more about dementia, with information written and presented in language appropriate for each age group, watch other children share their experiences in videos, play games, share their own stories and find out where to get support if they need it.
