Why environments matter
This module is made up of three sections:
1. Managing stimuli to support people living with dementia
2. Design Principles as an evidence-base for creating a supportive environment
3. Developing design ideas as a tool that helps you change the places you work
Gain insight into the affect environments have on people living with dementia and be introduced to the design principles.
Learning Outcomes
By completing this module, participants will be able to:-
Explain how buildings affect our perception and behaviour.
