About this Module
In this module you will work through case studies, involving a person experiencing each of the target responsive behaviours. For each case study you will develop a management plan to help support the person.Prerequisites
Before undertaking this module you will need to complete the following:
Learning Outcomes
After completing this module, staff should be able to:
- Recognise the three suggested stages involved in a management plan when supporting a person experiencing a target changed behaviour.
- Describe non-pharmacological strategies that may be used to support people living with dementia.
- Explain the review and monitoring process once a person is prescribed a benzodiazepine and/or other sedative medications.
