In this module you will work through case studies, involving a person experiencing each of the target responsive behaviours. For each case study you will develop a management plan to help support the person.
On completion of this module you should be able to:
Recognise the three suggested stages involved in a management plan when supporting a person experiencing a target responsive behaviour.
Describe non-pharmacological strategies that may be used to support people living with dementia.
Explain the review and monitoring process once a person is prescribed a benzodiazepine and/or other sedative medications.
